Western bronze sculptor and Cowboy Artists of America member Dustin Payne is pleased to return to the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum for the 2026 Small Works, Great Wonders exhibition and sale. This year's event will feature two of Dustin's sculptures, Comancheria and Canyon Shadow.
Held annually in Oklahoma City, Small Works, Great Wonders brings together more than 100 accomplished Western artists, including many who participate in the Museum's prestigious Prix de West exhibition. The event offers collectors an opportunity to acquire exceptional works of Western art in a more intimate format.

Comancheria
Comancheria reflects Dustin's continued interest in the history and heritage of the American West. Through his attention to historical subjects and expressive detail, Dustin strives to preserve the stories and traditions that have shaped the Western experience.
Canyon Shadow
Also featured in this year's exhibition is Canyon Shadow, a bronze sculpture that reflects Dustin's appreciation for the wildlife and natural beauty of the American West. His ability to capture character and movement in bronze remains central to his work as a Western sculptor.
Together, these two sculptures represent Dustin's dedication to creating artwork that honors the history, wildlife, and enduring spirit of the West.
About Small Works, Great Wonders
Presented by the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum, Small Works, Great Wonders has become a highly anticipated annual event for Western art collectors and enthusiasts.
The 2026 exhibition opens November 7, with the art sale taking place Friday, November 13. Guests attending the sale will have the opportunity to meet participating artists and purchase artwork through the Museum's fixed-price ballot system.
For collectors unable to attend in person, the Museum also offers a proxy purchasing service.
